Knox wins Australian Boarding School of the Year

"Leadership opportunities, social integration initiatives, and student led ‘Mentoring’ opportunities such as our ‘Cultural Immersion and Diversity Committee’ are wonderful opportunities for the boys to grow. We encourage the Boarders to initiate, develop and support many social events, like our newly created ‘Boarding Brothers Cup’ Inter-House competition.

Our bespoke Boarding programs are centred around ‘The Knox Total Fitness Model’ (Positive Psychology), delivered weekly by our Boarding Wellbeing Leader. With a quarter of our Boarders being International students, we have developed our bespoke ‘Immersions Program’ tailored to provide an onsite transition of support for our International boys starting at Knox."

Our overarching vision is to ensure that Next Generation Boarding is a positive choice for local, rural, and overseas parents, not merely a function of distance or deficit.

Within that vision, Boarding provides a complementary and valuable addition not just to the home experience, but also the school experience.

• Provide a community life in which Boarders not only become independent and self-sufficient, but also responsible citizens who appreciate diversity, live harmoniously and care for one another.
• Generate positive connections with all our Boarders and all our Boarding families through open and transparent communication, frequent personal contact, social events and support networks, creating and fostering an authentic sense of identity
