The students travelled across the West Coast of the USA, on a 12-day tour, described by some as “an opportunity of a lifetime".
Highlights included watching live NBA action twice (Los Angeles Clippers v Denver Nuggets and Clippers v Timberwolves) in the Intuit Dome, being privy to an exclusive view of Division 1 college athletes training at the UC Riverside Highlander’s practice session and being able to tour SoFi stadium, which will host the FIFA World Cup in 2026, the Super Bowl LXI in 2027 and the Summer Olympics in 2028. They also explored UCLA with the Director of Basketball Operations, Doug Erickson, who has been a part of the program since 1995.

Off the court, the students also took in the sights of California, including Disneyland, Hollywood Boulevard, Venice Beach, Alcatraz, and the Golden Gate Bridge.
