Congratulations to the Class of 2025 on their outstanding achievements in the Higher School Certificate (HSC).
Knox Grammar School
Their exceptional HSC results are a testament to the dedication, resilience, and integrity they have demonstrated throughout their time at the School.
Knox ranked 29th in NSW in the Sydney Morning Herald Schools Report, achieving an impressive 724 Band 6 results (scores of 90+). The School received a prestigious First in Course award in Design and Technology. In addition, 39 students earned a place on the All-Round Achievers List, recognising those who achieved the highest band across 10 or more units. The Class of 2025 attained 15 state rankings on the Top Achievers List, highlighting the state’s best performers in individual courses. Notably, three students achieved a top ATAR of 99.95.

These young men’s remarkable results reflect their overall ethos and approach to academia and life.
“The journey to the HSC is rarely straightforward,” said Headmaster Scott James. “It demands more than academic ability; it requires resilience, adaptability, and a clear sense of purpose. Throughout their years at Knox, these young men have demonstrated these qualities, and their achievements speak not only to their talent but to their strength of character.
“As I reflect on their results, I am reminded of the Class of 2025’s guiding mantra: ‘If you want to go fast, go alone. If you want to go far, go together.’ This group embodies what it truly means to go far – together. Their success was not the product of individual effort alone, but of shared commitment and mutual respect. In the classroom, on the sporting field, on stage, and in quiet moments of perseverance, they supported and inspired one another. That spirit of unity has defined their journey and will remain a source of strength as they step into the next chapter of their lives.”
